Orders & delivery
How long does delivery take?
Ready-made pieces are dispatched same day if ordered before 12pm, or next morning if ordered after. Personalised tees take 1–2 days from order. Fully custom orders take 3–5 days after design approval. All orders are shipped via BlueDart, Delhivery One Ecom or Shiprocket — covering 15,000+ pin codes across India.
How do I track my order?
Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive an automatic shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and a direct link to track your package. You can also check your order status anytime using your order number and email address. All our courier partners provide live tracking pan-India.
Do you ship outside India?
Not yet. Embroidist is made in India, for India — and we're proud of it. We currently ship across 15,000+ pin codes within the country. International shipping is something we're working towards. Watch this space.
Custom & bulk orders
How do I place a custom order?
Head to our Custom Orders page — it walks you through everything step by step. In short: reach out with your idea, we digitize it in-house within 24–48 hours, send you a preview for approval, and begin production once you confirm and deposit. Simple, transparent, no surprises.
Do you do bulk orders?
Yes — and we love them. Corporate gifting, wedding return gifts, team uniforms, event merchandise — if you need 9 pieces or more, you qualify for bulk pricing. Fill in our contact form with your requirements and we'll get back to you with a quote within 24 hours.
Can you embroider on my own fabric or garment?
Possibly — it depends on the fabric, weight and construction. We're happy to take a look before committing. Send us a message with details of what you have in mind and we'll let you know if it's something we can work with.
What file formats do you accept for custom designs?
We accept PNG, JPG, PDF and SVG. The better the source file quality, the better the stitch result. All digitizing is done in-house on Wilcom — the industry standard software — so even if your file isn't perfect, we'll work with you to get the best possible outcome.
Returns & quality
Can I return or exchange my order?
Because every piece is made to order — stitched specifically for you — we're unable to accept returns or exchanges on personalised and custom orders. Please double-check your spelling, size and artwork before ordering. Once production begins, changes cannot be made.
That said, we stand fully behind our work. If your order arrives damaged, is lost in transit, or doesn't match what was shown — we will make it right. Every image on Embroidist is a real photograph of the actual product. No AI. No filters. No surprises. Reach out within 48 hours of delivery at support@embroidist.com.
Care & quality
How do I care for my embroidered piece?
We use German viscose threads — naturally sourced, colourfast and built to last. For embroidered garments: machine wash cold, inside out, no bleach, no tumble dry on high heat.
Every Embroidist piece is built to stay new even after 50 washes. The embroidery becomes part of the fabric itself — not printed on top, but woven in. Wall art pieces, crafted on natural canvas with precise stitch density and German backing, are built to last virtually forever indoors.
